Pan Seared Halibut over Chickpea Salad

Chick Pea Salad

1 can chickpeas, drained
1/2 cup black olives, chopped
1 tablespoon crushed ginger
1 tablespoon shaved parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
2 teaspoons olive oil
5 large basil leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon of crushed garlic
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 tablespoon honey

Toss all ingredients together and chill for at least 20 minutes, allowing all the flavors to marinate.

Pan Seared Halibut

2-4 Halibut
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons basil chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoons Italian herbs

Add all of the ingredients into a small mixing bowl except oil and butter. and mix well.
Spread the sauce onto each fish fillet.
Heat a pan to medium high. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and butter Add the fish.
Let sauté on medium-high for 4 minutes per side
