6 medium apples ( granny smith or any sweet tart apples to your desire)
1 bag Hershey baking Melts
1/2 bag any “colored” chocolate melts to your desire
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup honey roasted peanuts
1 cup sprinkles
(The topping are endless and you can use any topping)
Wash your apples and push a popsicle stick down in the core of the apple. Then place the apples in a pot of hot boiling water for about 5-10 seconds. This will help take some of the wax off the apples.
Take a cookie sheet with wax paper and lightly spray with Pam baking spray.
Pour the chocolate melts into a large bowl and place in the microwave. Heat at 30 seconds interval. Taking it out each time to stir until it’s smooth and creamy.
Dip each apple into the chocolate, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl. Roll the apples around in the chocolate, turning with the stick until it stops dripping and then immediately sprinkle with one of your toppings.
Place the chocolate dipped apples on the cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Once you are all done with the chocolate covered apples, place in the fridge to set. Enjoy
