6 pieces thick-cut bread or French Toast flavored bread
1 1/2 cups carnation evaporated milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon sugar
1 banana cut in dices
1 cup of strawberries cut in dices
Powdered sugar for sprinkling
maple syrup or pancake syrup
heart-shaped cookie cutters (small) or about 4 inch hearts
Whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, ,vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.
Cut bread slices into heart shapes with your heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Dip both sides of each bread heart into the egg mixture lightly coating each side, and place on the hot skillet. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Top your heart-shaped french toast with strawberries and bananas. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with maple syrup and Enjoy!
