My kids love the idea of “The Grinch Cookies”, so after finding this recipe on Pinterest from In Katrina’s Kitchen I knew we had to make and bake these wonderful cookies!!!!

Ingredients
1 Box vanilla cake mix
2 Eggs
1/3 cup Vegetable oil
Green food coloring, a few drops.(after you mix and it’s still not the achieved color, you can add more drops and mix)
Powdered sugar (enough to roll the cookie dough in)
Mini heart shaped candies

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. degrees.
In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, oil, and food coloring. It does get kind of tough to mix. Make sure your food coloring is properly incorporated in the dough. Although I chilled my dough overnight you only need it to chill for about 10 minutes in the fridge. Once the dough is chilled, take one tablespoon and roll into a ball and toss in a bowl of powdered sugar, making sure all the balls are fully covered in the powdered sugar.
Place them on a parchment paper covered baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. About 3 minutes before taking the cookies out, I place the heart shaped candies in the center of each cookie.
Allow the cookies to cool completely and Enjoy!!!
