2 lbs of Shaved steak
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
1 8-oz package button mushrooms, sliced
3 tablespoons steak sauce
2 tablespoons dried herbs
8 slices provolone cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Basil olive oil
In large skillet over medium heat add the butter. Sauté the sliced onion,green pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until soft and starting to brown for about 5 minutes. Take the onion mixture out the pan and add the shaved steak ,steak sauce and dried herbs and cook about 5-6 minutes until cooked.
Once the shaved steak is cook add the onion ,mushroom and green peppers and combine together.
Place about 1/4 cup of steak on the bottom half of each roll. Top with a slice of provolone cheese and brush top rolls with basil olive oil. Broil in the oven until the provolone is melted and buns are toasted.
