Oatmeal w/ Strawberries & Bananas topped with sliced Almonds and a light drizzle of Maple Syrup

Started my day off with a refreshing healthy start.Oatmeal w/ Strawberries & Bananas topped with sliced Almonds and a light drizzle of Maple Syrup. Just enough to get my energy up and prepared for whats to come on a busy long day today.IMG_1515ab

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup of oats
1/2 cup of evaporated milk
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 strawberries sliced
1/2 banana sliced
1 tbsp sliced almonds
maple syrup for drizzle

Directions
Heat milk and evaporated milk in a saucepan. Add cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir. Once slightly simmered add the oat. Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes. Once done pour into a bowl and add the strawberries, bananas , sliced almonds and drizzle with a little maple syrup. Enjoy
