Quiche is the number one breakfast request in my house. I am always whipping up a quiche or two. I love quiche because you can eat it anytime . I use to only make quiche on holidays and special occasions, but now I’m always in the kitchen making quiche.It’s so good and you can basically put anything in your quiche when making it . It will still taste so yummy. Everytime my family comes to visit us they always ask for quiche and I never let them leave without “my quiche”.I normally make two ,my daughter loves it so much I have to make sure I make one pie just for her to enjoy.
1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
1/3 cup finely diced onion
3 tablespoons finely diced red and green bell peppers
1 cup fresh baby spinach chopped
2 tablespoons butter
3 large eggs
1 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
5 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
1 cup mild sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoon Italian herbs
1 teaspoon thyme
Poke holes on the inside of the pie crust with a fork. Line the inside of the pie crust with foil and bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the crust is set and dry. Remove the crust and reduce the oven to 350 degrees. Sauté the onions, peppers, and spinach in the butter until softened. Combine the vegetables with the remaining ingredients and pour the mixture into the pie crust. Bake the quiche at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until the center is set. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
