Almond French Toast w/Honey PB &Caramelized Bananas Drizzled with Maple Syrup

Almost everyday my husband and I eat peanut butter on toast with a banana. It’s a major breakfast or snack staple in our house . Today I decided I wanted peanut butter and French toast . I thought that would be a nice little treat away from just regular toast that we normally eat pb with ,at least for today. I can eat pb straight out the bottle with a spoon ,it’s that good!!_MG_0783a_MG_0772a_MG_0742a_MG_0746a_MG_0748a_MG_0749a_MG_0758a_MG_0772a

Beat egg, evaporated milk, cinnamon, nutmeg ,sugar , almond extract and vanilla extract together. Whisk until well blended. Pour into a shallow bowl.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up some of the mixture. Melt some butter (or use vegetable oil) over a large skillet on medium high heat.Fry until brown on both sides.
In the same skillet melt the butter over medium-high heat add the brown sugar and the banana, turning once, until golden and tender, about 3 minutes.
Lay your French toast out on counter and spread a nice layer of peanut butter(mix honey with peanut butter) on one side and the caramelized bananas on the other French toast slice and put it together like a sandwich . Top with powdered sugar and drizzle maple syrup on top .
